Volvo Penta
Volvo Penta IPS inboard system is a Whole new
idea. The IPS is a through hull pulling engine that uses the Duel Prop (also invented by Volvo Penta)
is supposed to make for easier docking a cinch.
The outdrive can spin 360 Degrees. For docking I have heard that you use a joystick, and for
cruising a wheel.

Pacific Boats
The pacific boats are made of 1/4 inch welded aluminum. They are very light and very durable and don't need the as heavy of a maintenance as you would find on fiber glass
boats. they will hold up to more of a beating so I think they would great for SCUBA Diving and/or a general work boat

E-Tec
The E-Tec is the 2-stroke outboard that uses 1/2 the oil as regular2-strokes and less gas than most 4-strokes. In a 2-stroke engineeach piston fires once every revolution witch results in more of the line speeed. 2-strokes also are more simpler than than 4-strokes and much lighter, but louder. In a 4-stroke engine each piston firesevery other revolution. This results in a quieter, smoother engine.4-strokes do not burn oil,but they are more complex and are heaver.4-strokes generaly use less fuel, and are slower of the line.the advantage of the E-Tec is it uses a 100:1 oil mixture (most are 50:1 oil mixture). This engine is less expensive than most 4-strokes and will need less matnince than most (no matinince for the first 300 hours or 3 years! ) I bet will last longer.
